Hi! So I'm having some issues with clothes. I made a conversion of some Harry Potter robes someone requested. The thing is that I cloned it using the princess Leia dress and that item doesn't work with wrist accesories. So I can't use the wand accesorie to work with the robes. I have tried looking at the Region Map and changing the values of the robes but nothing seemed to work. So I need some help figuring it out. I know Feyona has fixed some issues with necklaces but I don't know if this is a similar issue. If nothing works I guess I would have to clone another clothes and repeat all the lods again. HERE are the robes. HERE the wand accesories.

Mathcope I checked the robe and tried changing numbers but didn't succeed. I believe that the best solution will be to clone another suit. In your file I found a few seems empty geometry entires (there is nothing in viewport when you press on some entries). May be this is where problem lies. But I am just guessing.

Yes it seems that item doesn't use the region map to hide the accesories. I wonder what does it. Since the Princess Leia original dress also has the same behaviour. Maybe orangemittens knows something about it and can give us more details. After all, yes I can clone another thing but I just wanted to know a little better how everything works.

Mathcope I know that Tuxedotail tuxedo works with magic wand but I don't know if it's suitable for your robe.

The problem here is that the wand, by the look of what i'm reading here, doesn't have the settings right so that it appears under long sleeve tops/outfits. That you can do is re clone your robe using a short sleeve outfit. i honestly don't know how to specifically change the one you have already done.. maybe try comparing those two things?
btw, how cute are thosee outfits <3. i can't wait to use them in a shoot XD

Feyona that's odd. though to my understanding, the sorting layer controls the texture. i usually change the region type. Having said that, the wand is already in base. So maybe the clothing has different settings to the usual tops/outfits. I've always changed things to base and never had issues with it.

Thank you two for the help and interest. I do tired all above changing the sorting in both the wand and the outfit. Nothing worked out. But I will redo it using another clone and see how it goes.

inabadromance uggh, I meant that I changed numbers in region map. Don't know what was I thinking when wrote that post. That wand has 350 in Region map base. I tried changing it to higher, lower, changed numbers in robe region map parts (base and others). I think the problem lies somewhere in the way this mesh was created, I mean may be choosing another clothing item will help. I compared the robe to tuxedo and they have the same numbers in region map but tuxedo works with wand and robe doesn't...

I believe if you change the ExcludePartFlags field to 0 that this should fix the issue.
