So I made a pretty transparent princess shirt SEE IMAGE BELOW AND DOWNLOAD LINK. Everything is good except the sleeves won't go transparent LIKE THIS IMAGE ATTACHED. What am I missing? I'm using photoshop as my 2D editor Can someone help please? Thanks in advance. THIS IS MY FIRST TRANSPARENT SHIRT. The opaque sleeves are not noticeable here but they are opaque unlike the rest of the shirt! They're supposed to be more transparent than the rest of the shirt but they just won't go transparent This pretty shirt doesn't appear in my game :( and the other transparent shirts I made too. I made a transparent robe and it appears in the game but it's not transparent. :( arrgh. I don't know what I'm doing wrong

so yeah I was forgetting to do the second part of orangemittens' tutorial where i should open the nude project after I'm done designing the transparent shirt. MAYBE THAT IS WHY! LOL BUT look at what happened the sleeves are completely gone! LOL and the robe became like a transparent scuba suit hahahaha!!!

I see that you will have an issue ingame aside from the sleeves. With this set up the way you have it there is nothing underneath to show that it is transparent. For example in orangemittens's tutorial HERE she uses another top underneath. With yours there wont be anything underneath unless you add it. The skin in the tool has a bra on so you can see it but ingame it does not. As for the sleeves, I can say that the mesh mapping has the sleeves no where near where they should be (see THIS thread). At this point in order to have your sleeves properly transparent and show the arms underneath, the mesh would need to be modified. This is my opinion and how I would do things. There may be others with a better idea. As a side note: if you look at the collar of your shirt you will see that it is very pixellated/squared. To fix that you will need to modify the alpha channel (see image). The part you want 100% transparent will need to be black. Any shade of grey will be differing shades of transparency. As for your robe, it also has nothing underneath to show that it is transparent. | |

I just tested the Purple Transparent Princess Shirt even if it appears to have no sleeves. In the game it has sleeves and it does appear transparent... Is it transparent? I guess so.... I can't really tell! LOL BUT ATLEAST THE SLEEVES ARE THERE!

brujah OH the bra can't be seen in the game?! THAT IS WHY I couldn't see if it's transparent or not because of its color! Thank you very much for your suggestions and advice...I will try and do them.

How do I make this loose top transparent without loosing its shape? is it possible? I made it transparent from photo shop and saved it as DDS and imported it to Studio 4: If I simply save it like this, will it appear like this in my game? YES IT DOES! but the sleeves don't look transparent because there's nothing underneath? DOWNLOAD HERE: Loose Printed transparent Shirt

This was the original position of the sleeves in the texture: I used the Composite image and relocated those sleeves to where they should be (in the composite ) THE RESULT WERE BLACK OPAQUE SLEEVES AND DISCOLORED ARMS. CAN'T FIGURE OUT HOW TO MAKE THESE SLEEVES TRANSPARENT! AND WHY ARE THEY BLACK WHEN THEY'RE SUPPOSED TO BE YELLOW??? PERHAPS I SHOULD NOT HAVE RELOCATED THOSE SLEEVES FROM THE ORIGINAL TEXTURE OF THE SHIRT?

So once again, I attempted to make a transparent shirt out of that top (with those cute folded sleeves)... this time I just let the sleeves stay where they are in the texture. The result was correct but the sleeves just won't go transparent IDK why and I think I'm giving up on that for now. AND BECAUSE I'M SO FRUSTRATED WITH NOT BEING ABLE TO MAKE THOSE SLEEVES APPEAR TRANSPARENT IN THE GAME....I decided to add some glitters and lace instead....to make me happy. So here is what I came up with: a pretty laced up glittery shirt: DOWNLOAD HERE: Don't Touch Me laced up female shirt

I attempted to do a transparent recolor of a robe again, this time not using the nude package ... which was the reason my first robe became like a transparent scuba suit LOL ( I guess i somehow got lost and confused in the transparency tutorial, the tutorial is excellent...I'm just a little slow ) First I made this sexy recolor of the underwear (which will not be very noticeable later anyway LOL) then I turned the white robe into a transparent gold which I forgot to take a screenshot. sorry. Then I overlayed it with lace flowery design using brush in photoshop ...put some styles and here are the result: I also cut the other details off the robe so I can design them separately, then I placed them back. Here's the finished product! Here's the look in game. (Sorry my model is currently pregnant LOL ) DOWNLOAD HERE: Transparent Floral Robe

I like how you post all of your creative process, it's kind of like a trial and error sort of tutorial. I've never recolored any clothing, but it sure looks like a lot of work! I might actually give it a try sometime, after I get bored with furniture, which is probably never. :P haha

paika Yes it's like a trial and error and more error sort of tutorial LOL. But there are many aspects of the error part I don't show here like how I am tempted to pull on my hair lots of times haha!! but IT IS really challenging and most of all it's fun creating and sharing. This is also my way of forgetting my boredom and household chores. Today I made a recolor of that love seat for the broke hopeless romantics LOL and I made it grungy ... poured on some sauce, stitched and patched the torn fabric and jumped on it for hours with my dirty shoes on . I plan on making a set of grungy recolors So here it is in the game. Anyone wanna join me sit? LOL EEW. DOWNLOAD HERE: Poor Love seat
