Hi orangemittens, thanks for the quick reply. I have ran the batch fix to fix the broken cc a few times since I am slowly adding back in my cc clothing for the different genders and age groups. But even after running it, I still encounter the arm glitch. I should also mention that I only see it with my existing sims, not when I try to create new ones. Like I mentioned, it is for majority of my female cc bottoms. I also tried the reset debug cheat in the game just to try it and it did nothing. Is their something else i'm not doing or something else I missed? |

Okay @oragnemittens, I made the last reply without seeing the picture below your message. I think I don't have the latest S4S because I don't see the 'update CAS CC pets patch' option. I will try re-downloading S4S.

Sorry for late respond i was creating a whole new sim world...ok now this is what i did to get rid of the sims 4 arm glitch.I unistalled the sims 4 oh yea make sure you back up all your CC.Ok completely remove everything thats sims 4 related even sims 4 studio....ok now install sims 4 do not add CC until game has ran at lease once,once sims 4 is installed go ahead an install Sims 4 studio an also install CC,now that your CC is in place run the Batch fix in the new sims 4 studio wishes for Window and Candy for Mac.Now that should fix your arm problem also run other batch fixes you find in studio it will keep you from a stress out moment....believe me i know.
(also more column Cas mod) must be updated or you wont see nothing when you go to create a sim
Kitchen,Beds an other Batch fixes are available in the new sims 4 studio...Plz run them

I'm a newbie and hope I'm posting in the correct thread...
I'm having the same problem but running the batch for pets and then running the fix slot rays has stopped working. There was a dress it had worked for just yesterday but I deleted it on accident. And now when unzipped it from the same file I got it from (i had saved that LOL) and did the same steps as before, it won't work like it did before. The arms are eaten by the dress and there's nothing I can do to fix it.
I have done a clean uninstall and reinstalled Sims 4 Studio on my Mac, and it still won't work. Are there any suggestions?
i've of course restarted my computer etc, fixed Sims, etc, retried getting the CC file and it seems it's doing this with anything new I download too.
It also stopped working on My CC button in S4S, I can view CC files but can't run the modding options. It says I need to have a package open even though I have it selected. That was working fine too yesterday. Now i have to manually open every CC file from the open file option instead of using that too in order to even run the modding.
I'm having all sorts of trouble. lol. I don't know what's different. i just want my arms to stop disappearing in the big dresses. It's one of those big Rococco dresses from the 1700s.

I'm trying to do a semi decent recreation of Sarah from Labyrinth. Hi. This is not the problem with s4s, it is caused by the choice of the item to start the package. Your blend file most likely has one meshgroup, the whole body. You cloned something that has more meshgroups, so yours replaced only one of them, the one in the calf area. Try cloning the item called DressPanels, it has only one meshgroup. Then import your blend there. If won’t work, share the blend and the package files please |

I just saw this. Thank you for answering me. It's not a file I created. But I did just start messing with Blender last week to make my own dress finally. The other arm problem seemed to fix itself except for letting me click on any CC content through that button. I still have that problem. But the arms are okay now.
I do have questions about exporting my own CC content for a huge ass dress I made where the sides are warped where her hands are. The slot rays fix does help her arms extend, they were inside before. But I should probably find the proper thread. I do appreciate all the tutorials too, they've helped me a lot with lots of things. I did a kind of generic version of Sarah's dress from Labyrinth. LOL

Update, my friend who is a designer fixed the dress for me. I needed to split it up. I found something on the forum later explaining that. I am learning. LOL
