I searched around a bit for this answer and saw someone asked it before, but then got linked to a tutorial where you can totally delete the grid, but i don't want that. I still want the grid (if that matters), but just smaller. I have created some mini cactus plants and i would like them to have the small grid size (like the toothbrush deco). They now have the standard grid size (like a chair). Is there a way to edit this in the warehouse somewhere? I don't want to clone a mesh with a smaller grid and change the object tuning etc. Hope this is possible. If it doesn't make any difference to just delete the grid like the tutorial said, than i would like to know too

Isn't this what the "update footprint" thing does? I thought it was, but I'm unsure since I've mostly cloned stuff of the size I wanted. :-o

Yes thats the tutorial i red, but im not sure if theres a different between that and changing the size of the grid. I dont want to go into tuning ID and all :p I will wait and see what is easier.

export the footprint out of the toothbrush and import into your mesh

well pressing the "adjust footprint to fit mesh" is the way to go if you want the grid to be fitting of your mesh also changing the grid/footprint have nothing to do with tunning so you all safe

hi! You can clone the toothbrush and export its footprint from the warehouse as .binary and import it on your item. But do you want to change this for aesthetics or would like to make the plant slot differently? because that's changed through this way. edit: ups, had this tab opened for a bit. didn't see the previous replies!

'adjust footprint to fit mesh' so this is working too instead of exporting and importing the toothbrush footprint? Thnx for the replies

You would have to try out what is best for you. Sometimes the "Ajust footprint to fit mesh" tool gives some unwanted results. If that is the case, go easy and import the footprint of the toothbrush that's garanteed that size.
