There have been several questions related to the absence of resources in the Warehouse list when cloning a CAS item using Harmony. This post is intended to clear up some of the questions. In the past, when Sims 4 Studio cloned a CAS item, many resources were added to the .package with the assumption that they might be needed for editing. This was true of all versions up to and including the Jackpot series. The Harmony series is very different. Instead of cloning resources of potential interest, Harmony clones only the CAS Part. This resource contains references to all other resources that item has. The referenced resources are located in the game files. If you edit a resource, that resource is then added to the .package and the reference in the CAS Part is updated to reference your newly added resource. When you are finished making your item, your .package will contain only the resources necessary for your item to function properly and as expected in the game. All other resources will still be using game file referenced material. This will make your .package leaner and easier on the game when installed. What this means: After you clone a CAS item if you click into the Warehouse before doing anything else, all you will see is a CAS Part. This is normal for Harmony: You should no longer import images for CAS items in the Warehouse. All images for CAS items should be imported using the Textures tab: Resources do not need to be in the Warehouse for you to edit them. All the resources associated with the .package are referenced in the CAS Part. When you import a resource to overwrite the original, Harmony adds your newly edited resource to the .package, numbers it, and changes the reference in the CAS Part to the number of your new resource. This is true whether it is a mesh or any other type of resource.
