Hi, I'm creating a modular sofa set and I have an issue: what to do (function-wise) with the corner section. Waay long ago I made the same for TS2 and the corner section module ended up being an end table because I didn't know if it was possible to hack it enough to create an naturally diagonal-seat-slot of if it was I just didn't have the knowledge/tools to do it. This time, for simplicity sake I started off doing the same, and thankfully for the godsend tool which is S4S it was much simpler to implement it as an end table:
|
| Corner section module created from an end table base object. | With S4S's slots editor was pretty straightforward to make it to work as intended (i.e. to avoid the Sim coming from behind the sofa section I only had to push the slots more to its "front" edge) |
That's ok but my question is: would it be possible to make it to function like an actual living chair with its seat direction originally being diagonal (without having to rotate it after placed)? I ask that because, naturally, its mesh positioning goes like that: Which is no problem at all for its current end table function (since end tables can have its front blocked/etc), but I'm wondering how - and if it's possible - I could clone a living chair (like I did with all the other sections modules of the set) and make its seating to work diagonally in these conditions?

Thanks for that link Spirashun, looks exactly what I need to at least try to make it happen - exciting!
