Learning about files. where are animation info "kept"

I am just learning.  I am exploring files.  I was just goofing with the "top secret" computer file. I accidentally found the animation "Codes" and now I can't figure out how I found them. I was also goofing with a tablet file just comparing them to the pc because I found them interesting being they are both found under electronics so i was just reading how are they alike and how are they different and then I also accidentally came across the animation "codes" I don't know what I click on.  Can someone just guide me to how to find where the animation files/ codes are found in general in any object or at least a computer?
