Hello my fellow Simmer :3
Im completely new to create and modding Sims objects and meshes. I installed the Sims 4 Studio and the newest version of blender. Everything worked fine. After watching some tutorials about hair meshing, i wanted to try it by myself....well and theres the problem.
I tried to change the toddler pigtails for female toddler - wanted to make one pigtail on the back of the hair. I checked all colors and tried to export the mesh for blender. I suceed. The sims studio exported a blender file in my wip folder ( i recognize that the date of the blender file and the date of the package file were different - but sims studio create it at the same time o.o), I waited a while for blender to open automatically but nothing happened. However, after open the file with a double click blender opened a empty file.
And theres my problem. Everytime I export a mesh from the sims 4 studio I got a empty blender file. I cant´t figure out what im doing wrong.
Both versions are up to date. Downloaded Sims 4 Stusio and Blender this day - for the first time.
Sorry for my bad explanation. English isn´t my native tongue, but I hope you get what I wanted to explain.
sincerely,
Schneeball

Hi. You need to use blender 2.70 to export the mesh from Studio. If you use 2.78 for exporting the mesh, even if you open with 2.70 afterwards nothing will show up since nothing has been exported. This is a unknown issue with Blender 2.78 and Harmony that some people are having and others doesn't. In the mean time, while this gets solved make sure to check the path Studio uses for Blender. You need to set it so it uses Blender 2.70 to export and import. Please check THIS thread for more info.
