I've learned from past mistakes and so I've already tried: import the mesh to all LODs deleted the other shadows and normals checked that I had a cut number new texture imported made sure the mesh objects where joined
I tried to delete a file in the warehouse from the previous necklace but it didn't want to.

Hi! what's exactly the issue or what you want to achieve?

the texture isn't showing up on the actual shell for either, some necklace geometry is sticking around that shouldn't on the 'glow' file. And there should be a small glow on the 'glow' file. Both files are the same except for emission.

The shell has no actual mapping. It is just a tiny dot in the corner. When you join your meshes the uv maps must have the same name otherwise this happens.

Also, you mentioned that you tried to delete something from Warehouse tab. It's not recommended since it will break a .package. If you want to delete anything like specular or shadow, just make them blank from Studio tab.

that was the issue (UV map name) Thanks, I'll add that to my list of things to check when somethings not going right.

ok, one more thing, forgot the weight paint, fixed it, minor texture issue, will fix it. Everything else works...except the glow. The emission is set on 1.5 and I've watched three tutorials on how to make something glow....What box do I not have checked?

Please share an updated package of the glowing version. I tried exporting the emission texture from your first post, and it's giving me error. Be sure to clone an item that already has an emission texture (alien outfit) and study how it has been made.

New blend: simfileshare.net/download/176517/I'm looking at the alien suit and i'm not sure what i'm looking at. I notice there's no emission in the material so I'm guessing there's a whole other section they didn't mention in the tutorials...

Can you post the .package updated? The emission is added into the geometry resource. However, with Harmony this should be done automatically when you import a emission map in the Studio tab. If it's a bug it will be fixed for sure. But you might also be doing something wrong. Have you seen THIS tutorial? It explains there how the emission works and how you need to set up the image to import into Studio. I think the easiest way is to use .dds in this case. Have you added an alpha?

Ok. As far as I know the MAC version also has that function, so you should be fine. Don't worry, when you update the .package I can take a look
