Only the pants are exploding for some reason. I've tried attaching the top I'm using to a fullbody outfit with shorts and it doesn't explode. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Things I've already tried: - Putting my mesh on a more similar base mesh (right now it's on the base game maintenance outfit as that had cuts almost exactly like the pants I'm using) - Transferring weights from the exact base mesh I'm using - Making sure the vertices I've stapled together on my frankenmesh have also been stapled together on the UV_1 the same way At this point I've realised my best bet is to just use a fullbody mesh that has flared pants already, but I would love to know what dumb thing I've done here so I can avoid it in the future.

It seems like a weight problem to me. But If you tried yourself that and it didn't work, you either are doing something wrong or is something else. If you post the .package and the .blend file of this project we can help look into the issue to see what's causing it.

So I looked at it and I can't find other issue than a texture of the body overlaping the top`. I don't know why it is exploding. Did it get fixed when you cloned another garment? Maybe someone more experienced in CAS could tell you the reason.

I had tried to put it on a couple different base meshes (some overalls and a pants suit) but both times it exploded in more places than it is right now, unfortunately.

Finally managed to fix this by removing all the vertex groups from the frankenmesh and then transferring weights from the base mesh for each separate cut. I usually transfer weights while the frankenmesh is still in one piece and then cut it afterwards, but I must've screwed it up somehow. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
