So I just finished creating my first frankenmesh in blender (yay) but I have a problem. (boo) The mesh shows up complete in blender, but when imported to s4s, one portion of the mesh isn't there. pics for clarification: In blender it looks like this: (a combination of 4 EA meshes) But then I export the mesh to s4s and one of the mesh-parts vanishes: The missing scarfy bit is from a shirt, while the others are hats, so that's what I think the problem is, but I don't get what's happening. I have searched for an answer already, but haven't been able to find anything that addresses this problem. Am I missing something obvious? ugh. Help?

Did you vertex paint and weight the mesh? Do you have the same amount of mesh pieces as the original? I noticed that the mesh is called "s4studio_mesh_3". Did you merge all of the pieces together when you made your mesh? This can sometimes cause issues.
Also, would you be willing to upload your .package and .blend files so others can take a look to see the issue?

I did merge them together, following some youtube tutorial. And (yikes) I do not know what vertex paint and weighting the mesh are. I'll look it up rn and I'll see if I can get the files posted.

simsilly when you clone EA item that has 3 groups (cuts) you need to import your mesh with 3 groups back or use another EA's item that has only one group. You can separate your mesh in 3 pieces and rename each group accordingly to EA's item (GEOM 0000, GEOM 0001, GEOM 0002), this is what it looks like in blender. If there is NONE in Type, the game doesn't understand what item is it. Depends on the item most likely you will need to edit Region Map. But it will be easier to provide more information after seeing .blend, .package and item that you cloned for your creation.

I was having the same problem with portions of the frankenmesh and tried out what Feyona said and it work. I was about to give up! Thank you! You saved my project! You have to pick another mesh you can edit and then append the new mesh you created there, but it has to have the same amount of groups it did when you started editing. Apparently the game doesn't recognize meshes if they don't have as many groups as it did originally.
