If you post it I can take a look at it. I'm interested to try out one of Studio's alpha features on it.

Hi menaceman44, I took a look at the package and used it to test the bone weight fix cheat code that is in alpha now and that fixed everything except there was a hairline gap on both sleeves and the collar. I was able to fix those by joining the sleeve pieces to the main body mesh, remove doubles and re-split them (fixing cut numbers afterwards). I've attached the fixed LOD 0 at the bottom of the post. I am curious about the hairline gaps though... Are you exporting/importing the mesh multiple times in your work flow? It seems like there may have been loss of precision in the position of the vertices since the original mesh was an EA one that worked already with no gaps. The game stores meshes and textures in optimized formats and there is a small loss of precision converting back and forth so the highest quality mesh/texture exported from the game will be the first one you exported. Saving and changing in your 2d/3d editor will not degrade the quality, but importing and exporting back and forth in Studio very well can do that since it is saving in an optimized format. Fixed LOD 0

Thanks for looking at that andrewFor this particular project I only exported the meshes once as far as I remember. I imported a few different times after I had made changes in blender though, using Save As each time I made alterations to the mesh. ETA: I may need to open a help thread for this particular project. I went ahead and made all of my recolour retextures for the outfit before messing with the mesh again and decided to check them all in the game. This is the version that you ran through the new alpha bone weight fix and it has heavy shadowing around all of the edges. Not easy to see on the black version but on the white one here it stands out massively. The seams on the arms are also still visible.

Hello, I think I have the same than menaceman44 as he whox in this post : sims4studio.com/post/32114I saw that Andrew answer this : I took a look at the package and used it to test the bone weight fix cheat code that is in alpha now and that fixed everything except there was a hairline gap on both sleeves and the collar. I was able to fix those by joining the sleeve pieces to the main body mesh, remove doubles and re-split them (fixing cut numbers afterwards). I've attached the fixed LOD 0 at the bottom of the post. I made my mesh on Blender (dress form a shirt - picture A). Import in CAS juste as LOD0 for testing (picture B). There aren't issue on the CAS when i test it before assigning bones. Except of course that since the assignemnt doesn't exist on the bottom it don't follow the movments of the legs. (picture C) I go back to Blender and work on the blend exported for C. After I made the assignment... it's just a mess (picture D) I downloaded the last version but I'm sorry i don't know how to process. How can I use the cheat code ? Thanks for your time !

Sorry it's me again. After few hour I remeber how to make my brain working. So i made a search on Google and found that the code is on the Tumblr's post of sims 4 Studio. Life is sooo wonderfull By the way for m-people who might need it : 1. open the cheat code in Sims 4 Studio : CTRL+MAJ+C (easy to remember !) 2. type bonefixer And enjoy ! Thank you to the Sims4Studio team for this programm and the help :-*

Hey fuyaya, I'm glad that you got this working We will soon be adding all of the cheat codes that are still in use to the menu to make things more clear.

I'm curious, what is the use of this bonefixer cheat? I have seam issues too on a mesh I'm still working on and I'm not happy with it at all.

I'm not competent for technical explanation but I can show you what it did for me On the left my dress after weight transfert when I open it in the CAS. Severals issues as you can see. On the right the same package after I applied bonefixer on it via Sims 4 Studio. It corrected the matter of assignments.

Hey, I've followed the steps and the mesh that I've converted from another game (ME3) seems to be more or less working with the game animations and following the right bones. Unfortunately, I'm running into a problem with the mesh not following the morphing [of the sim's body]. So when I change the fitness or thin/fat sliders [or any other body altering sliders/morphs], it doesn't at all follow. Weirder still, changing the morph of the thighs and leg area only seem to trigger the resizing of the foot. D: Any help and insight I could get on this would be great! I'm just wondering if there's something I'm missing D:

Hi. I need an advise. I made a new mesh from base game skirt the one with A shape I made it puffier and a bit longer, but I'm not happy with a knee line, when sim sits it is looks bad. I checked original skirt behavior and it is the same, just because original one is shorter it doesn't looks too bad in sitting position. Can I do anything about that? I wish I can force the skirt to follow knee line. I guess I can add some more weight around a knee but how and from what kind of skirt or a dress?
