Hi Aquamarine-DreaM, probably the easiest thing to do would be to reclone the item.

Hi celest, welcome to Studio forums. I'm not sure I'm correctly understanding your question but tutorials going over how to work with CAS items are here: sims4studio.com/board/25/cas-pose-tutorialsIf this doesn't answer your question please post again but in English.

Well If this tool had used anything other than blender I may of loved it, I got the mesh to export, but as I have no clue about how blender works when it comes to all the uvv mapping nonesense, i tried for about two hours to get it to do the uv map properly and export. But it just kept coming out a mess...

Hi cosmicflux, welcome to Studio forums. For object meshes you don't need to UV map them in Blender. You can create and map the mesh in any 3D editor that you prefer and then bring it into Blender to assign the cut numbers (this is what tells the game which of your meshes to use to replace the corresponding EA mesh) and then save it. This tutorial goes over that process. The example item for this tutorial is an item I made in Sims 3 and it was mapped using Milkshape. I brought this mesh into Blender fully mapped in .obj format. Please give it a try and if you run into questions don't hesitate to ask

Hi xxdagamergurlxx, when you import a .obj into Blender you should see the mesh in Blender's 3D view. If that isn't happening please post the .obj you're working with so I can take a look at it.

Hi marisita, I recently ran into this same problem with a project I'm working on. I will admit I grew a little frustrated with it and asked Andrew to take a peek. He discovered that the issue with my object was that on my specular I was using solid black on the areas for the solid parts of the object and the image is a .dxt5 .dds. When this is changed to lower the opacity on the black portion of the image the problem went away. If you are using solid black on your specular this may be the source of the problem in your project also.

Well unfortunatlly I must tell you that I couldn´t solve the problem. I´ve tried with differents speculars but the shine was still there in all the cases, may be the problem is that I´m not making the right specular, really I don´t know anyway thank you very much for your time and your help!
