Hi. I have edited a dress from Romantic Garden SP and I turned it into a top. But, as you can see, there are weird shades on her legs, and the top isn't attached to the body. It collides with the body everytime a Sim moves. Plus, the arms are too close to the body. You can see the top below that isn't made longer yet. I don't understand why there's an empty place even though everything seems okay in Blender. I do realise it's probably a dumb problem, but I really want to finish this top. I'd be very grateful if anybody helped me. Ask me if something isn't clear. I just don't have an idea what went wrong.

hi! have you checked this tutorial about frankenmeshing? When you remove parts of a mesh, you have to replace them or else you're going to find empty spaces like in the pictures you shared. Also if you're transforming a dress into a top, you should import said top into another top, not into the same dress package. You have to clone simple top (like a tank top), export it's mesh and edit your blend so that all the groups and cut numbers match. if you need further assistance, please share the package and blend file.

Thank you, inabadromance. I tried to go on with working on that mesh, but I gave up. And then I decided to edit another mesh - this time I wanted do shorten a top, and, I think I actually did. But there are some weird shadows around the Sim's waist and arms. Do you have any ideas what I can do with them? Thank you in advance I'll be grateful for any solution.
