Hello! So I just merged about 8 K files down to about 40 package files and when i went in game it gave a notification that 63 items have been removed. I noticed that during the merging process S4Studio was not matching the amount of items I had selected to merge: Lets say I selected 200 files to merge. Once I merged them, S4STUDIO would say "190 files merged!" so it wasn't adding up. It did this basically every time I merged a new amount of packages and I am going to assume that at the end, all the missing files totaled to 63 Is there a way to avoid this? Was it because I merged too many files at once? If so, about how many files should be merged at one time to avoid this? However, I feel as though even when I merged less amounts of package files it still did the same and of course I am not about to sit here and merge 20 CC items at a time out of 8,000! haha. I am playing on a Macbook Pro 15' Retina

Hey, I think I accidentally pressed a button in blender that causes things to stretch instead of simply rotate while pose making. Just wondering if anyone knows how to turn this off. imgur.com/a/v1zRoThank you xD

At first I thought this as well, however, the first two swatches are literally super close in color. But one shows in full luminosity while the other shows as if it is a much darker swatch when it is not. That is when I realized that this is actually an issue somewhere.. I just need to find what it is.

I know that it looks good with lighter skinned sims, but not with darker sims, so I need to find a way to correct that so that it appears the same all across the skintone spectrum. Its great that it works for your sim, but I want it to be fair for anyone to be able to use and I want everyone to get the same quality nomatter what skintone they have. Yes, this is in the skin details category. But if your advice is that sometimes skin details conflict, I don't see how that necessarily applies in this case because the first swatch works perfectly, while others do not appear the same. Thank you though

Ive made a foundation located in Skin Details replacing the "Mouth Creases" with a sort layer of 2100 and it doesn't work with blushes, which seem to be covered this foundation. The blushes sort layer is 5600. Both items composition method are 0. Have you any idea what the issue may be that is causing the conflict between them?

Hi! When I make poses in blender and go to try to manipulate which way the eyeball is looking or try to close the lids a bit etc, I am not able to. It will only allow me to move the entire eye socket around in different ways causing a deformed look about the sim, this is definitely not what I am going for. I've watched several tutorials on pose making and they always seem to have no trouble moving the eyeballs and lids around but when I try, thats what it does. Any suggestions or something I may be missing?

There are initially categories like Tops Bottoms etc for clothing and then the ones for the head, but I am wondering if there is a way to create your own one? I know that I now have a new category in my game for Teeth now and am wondering how to create my own !

So I tried to use a png file to import where i would normally put the .dds texture in S4studio, but it did this : imgur.com/a/8iqRm

You can but when you save as .dds you loose some quality, so when you re-open it, edit and save again texture looses some more quality. Depends on texture it can be very visible or not so noticeable. I save as png and rarely use dds due to above mentioned reason. Okay so wait one sec, you can use png files as texture files!? I know that png is better for quality and I do notice a loss of quality when making certain things like makeup cc specifically. But if this is possible thats so cool. I need to start doing that. Secondly, did you happen to have any idea what was wrong with the pants in the reference photo I sent? I have fixed the shirt and am currently working on some other recolors I did without saving the mitmaps. But those pants, are they the same issue as well?

Ah! Wow. Weird... But it might be a problem with LOD1. But I am not sure. I would track this top down with Tray Importer and see textures and lods. Well-made meshes and textures don't change their look when you zoom out. Some people save as .dds and forget to tick "generate mipmaps", so users will see naked top when they zoom out. Other creators don't change lower lods. It's difficult to say if there is a glitch with clothes, or really unusual game glitch. I put my bet on the first guess. Its my own fault.. I guess haven't been generating mit maps when I do recolors. How exactly is this done? And now that the recolors are done, is it possible to open up the .dds files in PS and just simply generate the mitmaps and then put them bck into the package?

imgur.com/a/pW2ClI am running mac OS (the latest version) and I am not sure what the problem is regarding this glitch. Also, If anyone knows a way to sort through mods in order to find the bad ones please let me know as there is no Mod Conflict Detector (that I am aware of) for mac pc's :( By the way, these are two separate glitches. One is the pants and it happens if I do a recolor and then put the recolor in game, it shows up like this instead of what I recolored it to be. The second glitch is the clipping/ripped looking glitch where the clothes look torn everywhere. The closer i zoom into the sim, the more back to normal it looks, but the further I zoom out, the more ripping that will appear until eventually the sim appears topless or bottomless depending on the outfit. I know that it isn't just that shirt itself because many other items do this from other creators. It tends to happen with painted on items, but I have also seen it happen with meshes as well.

l33ches , are you using the updated version from HERE? If so, make sure that you have deleted all traces of the old one or you may have 2 versions in your mods folder. carmensanders , I just tried the latest version of the teleporter and it is still working for me in the latest patch from EA. Can you check to make sure that you have the latest version of the teleport mod and that you don't have any old versions in your mods folder? Thank you, sorry for the late reply. I fixed it! Simply had to redownload it again for some reason. (But I had the updated files already.. so I am not sure why I had to re download it.) Anywayss the problem is fixed so thanks

Is there a version of S4Studio for mac computers that is capable of doing recolors outside of CAS?
