Beautiful things francienOh, and Im with paika, I too love Industrial, the raw bricks with concrete, wood and big windows! Would be cool to see you tackle that aswell Francien, but you do things when you feel like it. I tried Blender, but as I transferd my object from Google Sketch to Blender, it was just probelm after problem... I dont know what to do, because I never found a tutorial about transfering things from Sketcup to Blender, so I got a beautiful Buddha statue just sitting there Thank you again I haven't done anything yet..to busy in rl..and you are so right, I Always do things when I feel like it, than it works, that is with most things..lol I'm Always feeling my gutts if I don't it mostly become a mess Yesterday I have been building, late in the evening when everyone where sleeping, nice also to put your mind on something different. About Blender..pfww I have no clue yet how it works all I'm doing is recoloring but I love to learn to make my own things..When building I need some rare items wich you can't find or when you find them you don't may share them inside the lot or you don't may to recolor them or must put a link back etc. I understand that the creator put a huge lot of time in each item but when you want to share something it's a pain in the ass atleast I find so..So for sure I'm going to give it a try I suppose it's just like painting when you do that everyday you going to understand it better and better. About your objects transferring, I have no clue but you knew that already in the meantime, wish I could help you out with it..maybe somewhere here on the forum? It would be a shame when your Buddha stay's there staring at you..When I find a tuturial you need I will say it right away..just keep my eyes open, you never know

haha well I'm slao good in disappear, when I have other things to do at home :D..I have just followed Orangemitten tutorial how to create a template, and got one! Blender looks like abacadabra but that was the same with Paintshop and Adobe photoshop, Think you must become familiar with the program and all the buttons. When I have more time I certainly will follow the tutorial how to do and hope I will become more familiar with Blender. Till then I try to recolor the objects wich I like

Well, a mistake when painting with watercolors, is, for example, mixing wrong pigments together. Since watercolors are mostly transparent, if you paint over one color with another, it will still show. some pigments can be opaque, to a certain degree. The beauty of the colors comes in part from the paper showing through. If you put too much opaque paints on, the painting loses that beautiful glow. If you mix too many colors together, you end up with opaque mud color, something you really don't want. Another thing would be to use staining pigments where you didn't intend to. You can pick up the color with a wet brush, if you want to "erase" something, but some colors just won't let you do that. Those are usually the modern pigments. I like to use them, because they don't fade. It just takes a bit of planning on how you're going to layer the colors. Still I don't always plan everything, or end up with what I wanted, but you can always layer another medium on top, like pastels or acrylics etc. So true that is why a lot of people find it difficult to use watercolor..I like the suprise when using it. I haven't much time lately to do anything and the worse of all is that time fly's Had a few things done for my sims4 shabby vintage crumpled house after the doordiningtable, it seems doors are in I decide to do also a sidetable in 5 different patterns..and a small endtable..also but forgot to take a photo that thingy wich you can put above the door so your sims stand dry when it suddenly rains lol..with new mossyrooftiles to stay in the old style of my house.

francien I love to watch people paint, even when I don't particularly feel like painting myself. I like watercolors the best, because they are the most beautiful and cause the least mess. ;P I agree with you Paika, it's great to watch and I'm always impressed by it..still amazed by what people can do with only a pencil or some colors even with they're fingers! I want to try that also someday lol. Watercolors is imo very delicate, love that to you can get such wonderful effects but you must be fast, I have done a lot with watercolors very bright and still soft to see. Now I'm in the middle of oilpainting it works fine too but on a other way and whew till it's dry! What I like about oil is, it isn't fading with the years it will survive me when it's good..pretty to know that when I'm gone my oilpainting are still in excits in full color I have tried every medium now I think pastel watercolor oil graphite ink and colorpencils and the airbrush..Pastel is not my medium my whole room become very messy including myself but atleast I have tried it out. Oh well the meanthing is that you have pleasure in what you are doing and even I don't like the endresult there is always someone who say's I like it may I take it with me.It's good whe all have a different taste

J Mzungu Why just francien? I like it when a lot of people paint together. Rarely happens for me because I don't really have friends who are into arts and crafts. Someone told me there are meet ups and classes for this kind of thing, but then they put you in weird, stupid constraints. I actually saw one such meet up at a restaurant recently, and what they were painting looked so uninspired it made me wanna smack the instructor. Haha. Bet they take good money for that too... Maybe I should offer art classes. I can tell you a million things about brushes, paints, pigments and papers but I would never tell you: draw a line right here, like that. Also it makes my blood curdle when I see people use bad quality and/or overpriced art supplies. Me either, I'm the only one who can draw a straight line haha I alway say you can draw also, just give it a try! you will be amazed..I have been to such classes it was nice to meet new people but I didn't learned much what I didn't already knew but okay I was out of home Whe had to paint barns flowers till I couldn't see them anymore, got tired of them and needed something different so I took another class wich gave portraitpainting..also nice but my neighbor was continue chatting. I knew than okay it's fine follow your own guts paint what you want use the colors you like and do it at HOME!! I am.. Many many people are soooo good with drawing painting airbrushing, that I sometimes think..okay I not that good as they are because I do it in my spare time, practice a lot will improve your skills that is with everything..oh well it give the harded needed relaxing time, that is for me the mainreason I'm painting and when people likes and want it I give it as a present, (depends on the painting) some off them are having a emotional feeling those I keep.

francien how's your creating going? Or have you taken a break to stop and smell the flowers while you can? Oh and you should take paika up on that challenge Hehehe yes I was busy with other stuff..last weekend I have been visiting a Halloweenparty came home late and felt like I was drunk so tired of all the people who where screaming and yelling..to much to see and so many people!! But I had a blaste Today I was also not at home just like tomorrow..I'm still trying to recolor this time I'm busy with a cabinet I made also a few new walls but it seems they are copyright, wich is a shame they look fabulous..was thinking on to write them to ask if I may use them but didn't find the time. Well and further must clean up the garden wich is covered with leaves even my car is not recognizable as a car the weather is just great with sun and no wind. I dive later in the game and make some screenshots. About the challenge haha I'm working on a lighthouse (very large oilpainting) someone saw I was working on it and felt in love with it..Wishing there where more hours in a day sometimes Hope you are doing well and that your neighbor is moved to Alaska in the meantime I wasn't here..whooohoo that would be great and fast!

Good thing you clarified that you would never smash them. My god you know alot about animals, bugs and birds and god knows what else I bet your dream home is in the middle of the woods, or near a lake or something! I bought my Cannon camera for two reasons. One; because I wanted to take macro photos too, macro photots are amazing, but I dont have a macro objective. And two; because I wanted to take night photos of the sky and stars... but I dont have a camera stand either, so Im screwed, lol. I got my camera like 4 years ago and still dont have any of those things. Yeah, I guess you can say im scared of anything that flies. Thankfully we dont have flying squirrels here in Sweden. I just really like the nature and everything it has to offer. So plants, trees, mushrooms (Especially this time of the year), but most of all, the animals. So everything I read or hear about it, I save to my brains to the "things I like about nature" folder. My dream home...I don't know, but not in a city, that's for sure. To crowded although there are living much of animals in cities too if you know where to search for them. But somewhere near a forest, heather or lake would be great of course. I only need a nice girlfriend with the same interest and lots of money for a nice house. (Not a girlfriend with lots of money, but AND a lot of money) About macro photography, I have a bridge camera myself: Panasonic Lumix FZ200 and I use a macro lense converter. So that's not a real macro lense, but just a lense that's enlarging everthing a couple of times. Maybe it's something you could use too. They're also much cheaper then real macro lenses but work great as you could see in my videos. Photos about skies and stars are great too. I made some sky photos but never about stars, though I'm also interested in those, but I barely know something about it. Only that it's a very strange thing. It's like looking into the paste as there are stars you see that don't even exist anymore, but we still see the light! And that space is a never ending thing as far as we know...that's just scary.. francienThose are some very nice pictures! I only don't reconize the owl, are you sure it's a wild one? Looks like it's sitting on a "bird of prey" show thingy.. It doesn't look as a Dutch owl. That picture of the Eurasian oystercatcher (Scholekster) is very beautiful too! Good thing you rescued the grey heron. I ones had a Eurasian jackdaw I raised. It became very tame. He was sleeping in a tree in the backgarden and in the morning he would pat against the window with his beak to tell me he was hungry. Unfortunatly he flew away one morning and was gone for 4 days. Then he was back home for 2 more days and then went away again. Never saw him again. I hope he joined the other wild jackdaws and didn't got eaten by a cat or something Thank you Bakie! you think so about the owl? I wasn't sure either I thought he was more brown..have to dig out my photo's. Haven't had the time yet,if I put the wrong photo I'm sorry about that than, because I don't want to fool anyone

Thank you sweetsorrowsims, Owls are a bit special I suppose, you don't see them much around. I know there are a few in that area, now they want to build there houses! Whe have had a petition to stop the plans only for the Owl's. They would move away and that would be a shame. Ah people destroy so much >:(
