It has to be joined to the original mesh, click on fakeleg and shift click s4studio_mesh_1 then hit ctr j to join them. The fakeleg name in the right column will disappear. Thank you! So I was able to combine those two meshes and now they both appear in the Sims 4 Studio preview. The problem now is that the part of the leg still shows through with the prosthesis. Would I go and import this new combined mesh into another cloned item Blender file where the cut-off point is right below the knee? Or is there a way for me to use the current Blender file as it is, by deleting the parts of the leg so it corresponds with the blender preview? In the blender file, I just deleted parts of the Rig's meshing but I'm guessing that isn't what transfers over to Sims 4 studio. Ignore the stretched sim face texture, I'm assuming I can retexture all of that later once I get the mesh completed and appearing as it should.

Hello! I am quite new to meshing! I did look over all of the tutorials and I followed them and then browsed the internet looking for solutions... only to find that I have failed. I am trying to create a snazzy prosthetic leg which is from the knee-down on the sim. Currently I created it from a mesh of a high heel then added some new meshes. This was all combined and then added to another cloned item file, which is a male category shoe. Upon deleting the left shoe's faces in blender and importing that into my package, it shows that indeed the left shoe is gone! Yay! As for the new mesh, I used 'append' to transfer it into the male shoe clone file. It doesn't show up on the same 'level' as the shoe meshes and instead seems to be its own category. When I import this new blender file (prosthetic + old shoe) into Studio, it appears as though I never added the new mesh at all. I'm guessing this is because the prosthetic leg mesh isn't on the same 'level' as the cloned shoes. To clean up my model in blender, I deleted the 'faces' from the left leg, bottom quadrants. Previewing in blender, I can see the shoe where it belongs, the snazzy prosthetic leg, and no extra 'leg bits' sticking out. In the Sims 4 Studio view, it doesn't show that the 'leg bits' have been removed, though I'm guessing this is because the blender file is meant for the cloned shoes, not the rigged body. The picture below is before I deleted the 'leg faces' from the rig. However, since deleting the 'leg faces' didn't carry over to the package, I'm guessing it would end up like this. I'm not even worried on coloring my new leg just yet. It's just set as a material and appears to be all black and I'm having problems trying to give the renders an actual color. What I am trying to do is figure out how to put the cloned shoe and the snazzy prosthetic onto a model while deleting the 'leg bits' so it appears that the left leg is missing. I'll more than likely need help on coloring the material, as it is rendered, but not colored or anything. But that's a different story. As of now I'm frustrated and tired with this project but I do want to see it completed, by myself or with some help. I'd be more than happy to share and let someone add the finishing touches as described above, as I have rendered the bits I wanted to make. Thanks!

I made mouse makeup. It's a bit over the top, meant more as costume party stuff, but it might do. The picture didn't appear for me, so I don't know what she looks like. sims4studio.com/thread/4122/cc-hagfisher

Could anyone create a hat, like the one that Finn wears in Adventure time? That would be amazing, but I haven't found any online. Just a simple request, as I can't make meshes. It's too complicated for me, sorry. It looks a little bit like this: However, if someone could walk me through, step by step, I could try and turn the Sims 4 hot dog hat into a Finn hat by adding the little ears as it already is basically really close, but I'm no good at meshing. Thanks!

I am quite confused about making Sims pose on objects, like a chair or a bed. I see poses on Tumblr that say something like, just have the sim sit on the chair or have the sim "nap" on the bed. I'm guessing it overrides the napping animation or the sitting animation? How would I make poses like this?
I would assume to select from animations to override to take the sitting ones for chairs, such as
c2o_sofa_nap_loopdoze_seated_x
And when I go to override the animation the model will be in the default pose, similar to when overriding the trait animations. I don't know the height of the sofa I want to use. I'm guessing that I would have to insert the object into blender to make the pose, but I'm not too sure about how to do that and I've looked for tutorials but can't find any. Once I choose the sofa I want to use and put it into blender, will it also appear in the game or will the Sim just do the pose on the given sofa?

Hello! I'm really new to anything relating to CC. I want to adjust how a piece of CC fits against a sim's face in the game. There's a bit of a gap between the face and the item. Not that it's a real big problem, but I would like to adjust it.
The item is a piece of CC from necrodog. I can't find anything relating to TOU and his CC, but I guess that no reuploading is allowed. I don't plan on reuploading. I'd just like to adjust it for my game only. Also, I'd contact him, but I can't find any way of contacting him regarding the piece of CC.
If someone could just point me in the right direction of a tutorial, that would be great. I understand that my request might not be allowed because it is someone elses' piece of work.
Thanks!

Would it be possible to create an eye patch? Yes, I've made a request here and now I feel so wrong making another... BTW the wheelchair was amazing. Back on topic. I am currently using Necrodog's SIms 2 to Sims 4 conversion eye patch and it works wonderfully, except for the fact that it is only available on two or three outfits and has a gap between it and the face. Is it possible to move the eye patch closer to the face? The only other eye patch is too anime-ey for my game preference. I used an eye patch in Sims 3 that worked wonders because it was available on all outfits and was listed as an "earring". I would attempt to make my own, but I'm no good at these kinds of things. I'm clumsy with computers in general and my laptop is a potato incapable of having too many programs. My greatest fear is that I sound horribly rude to the people who take time to make CC, but I really appreciate and hold them in high regard. I can't be whiny and feel self-entitled to having everything my way, but a few adjustments would be greatly appreciated. I know reuploads are looked down upon, but I don't want to trouble anyone to make something like the eye patch from scratch. Thanks for taking the time to read this post! TL;DR I would like an eye patch that doesn't have a gap between it and the face.

It looks amazing so far. There really isn't much more to add! If you think it needs recolors, go ahead and add them. This is just incredible. If you need anything, just ask. I don't think I'll be able to pay you back for this... I love wheelchairs and now I love you :D
Where will you be uploading this? Will it be open for the public? I think it would be a great idea to share this with the rest of the Simming community.
Thanks again. A thousand thanks. A MILLION THANKS.

So I started on the chair, so far I have the general shape of it, but still have a little more modeling to do. I want to test all of that before I start mapping and making it pretty. OH MY GOSH! Thanks so much! If there's anything I can do for you, just ask. Like, do you need any packs for Sims 4? Would be glad to buy them. Thanks again!

It doesn't even need to be a chair. It can be "clutter" and just decoration!

I know there's already a wheel chair out there, and I know I can't be picky, but would it be possible to make an antique wheelchair? Not, like, with animations or anything. Just a sitting chair. It would add worlds of story telling potential. I know CC takes time and lots of dedication. If someone could look into this request, I would be extremely grateful. Making objects from scratch must be really hard. An antique wheelchair would be no cakewalk. There's a lot to be said for just reading this thread, and I can't express my thanks. Thanks! Like, more than thanks. I'm in your debt! Wheelchair something like:
