Hello everyone and thanks in advance for the help! I'm working on a coffee table and I don't know why I can't make it look good. The problem is quite typical, but I can't solve it: in the game doesn't look correctly, shines where it shouldn't, etc... I started working on the EA mesh, because I thought it would be easier. I had many problems with shadows and shines and I decided to make my own mesh from 0, but the problems persist. The edges of my object aren't defined and I can't fix the brightness problem: I have tried using blank bump and specular image from here, using EA bump&specular...but I don't see any difference (except in the depth details). What could be the problem? You can download my package hereThanks!

Hi yellowjelaucy, welcome to the forums. Your pics are not showing up so it's difficult to know what the issue is.

This is a normals issue, to fix it you need to split edges in the parts you want the mesh to be sharp. In Blender, change the shading to Smooth so you get an idea of where the problem is. Then, using the select edges tool mark the ones that should have a sharp ending. Press Ctrl+E and choose Split Edge. It should now look sharp in Blender and the game.
If this sounds difficult you can also try the Blender Edge Split modifier. Once you apply it will split mostly all your mesh's edges. This is applied to the whole mesh and not only to the edges you want to fix. Sometimes it comes handy but it is always better to fix the ones that require it.
