I'm trying to make a kid toy,(companion cube!) however my texture keeps distorted after importing it in S4S. I checked the UV map several times in 3dsmax and Blender aswell, where everything is fine. So this is how the texture looks in 3dsmax: Also tested this in blender, which has the same result as 3DSmax. But after importing the texture into S4S: I really don't know what causes the distortion, I tried a lot to fixing this but nothing seems to work... Also searched in the help section of the forum but I can't find the same problem. So I'm clueless... Blend file
Package
Thanks in advance!

the easiest way to do this is to go into blender and bake the uv map and then save the texture. after that you should go into your photo editor and place your image on top. after importing that into s4s, it should show up in the right place.

I just tried both options, reimported the mesh and the texture again, but nothing seems to work unfortunately.

The UV gets being modified on its own upon import because you missed part of it floating around. It's one of the circular pieces. You can either zoom out really really really really far to see it or select all the UV that you can see using B and then invert the selection to just have the missing piece. It is located towards the middle left so use G and move your mouse to the right a few times to see it.
Edit: it's not even a visible part. You can set sync on and delete it because it's the inside of the mesh.
