i am very familiar with creating CAS meshes and am trying to figure out object meshes. I made a little sofa as shown: but when i import it into s4s, it doesn't show up. instead, the couch i chose does instead. for making clothes you'd just import it onto a nude package, but i can't seem to find one for objects...

Not entirely sure how you are approaching this so here is how I would do it.
Create clone of EA couch Export the mesh of EA couch Open mesh in Blender to see how many meshes there are (S4studio_mesh_0,S4studio_mesh_1 etc.) Open my created mesh to see how many meshes there are
If there are more in the EA mesh - Export my created mesh as an .obj file. Open the EA mesh and Import my created mesh.obj, delete one of the EA meshes and make sure the imported mesh has the cut number of the EA mesh deleted.
If there are more in the MY mesh - find another EA object with the same number of meshes.
Hope that helps

Cut number on S4studio_mesh_2 is "3", not "2"

hi! if you create a new blend and append your file to it, the bake button should appear.
