So I'm trying to make a dance pole out of a dance floor texture, and it keeps showing up in game as transparent. Up against the wall, it's fine, but everything shows up through it! I've tried weighting it, adding an extra piece to take the alpha, and anything else I found to try to stop it from doing this... Please help...

simfileshare.net/download/333355/Here's the package file... And I just realized: I imported the file with the extra piece on it that I thought was supposed to take the alpha, but when I re-export the file, that extra piece isn't there...

You do not need an alpha, alpha is only if it needs transparency, but in your case if you did have one it would have to be completely white. But save its a .png and its fine (well is for me)

It's still transparent, though - And it doesn't ever keep the layer, anyway...

I believe the problem here is that you used a rug as a base. You don't have to clone a rug, clone a plant or any other object instead.
Rugs are an object that work differently than regular items, those are not meant to have an actual mesh that go over the floor so you'll always have this type of issue if you do that.
