There must be something I'm missing. I'm creating a new CC using the shirtless male top as the base, yet the CC I import only replaces that top rather being its own clothing item. How can I work around this?

I'm not too sure about this, but either you checked the "override" button by accident, or you used orangemittens ' tutorial about standalone items. For EA items I believe you don't need to use this tutorial, you only need to clone the item. I've clone EA items before (including the nude female top), and there weren't any problems. You probably just need to check "Create CAS Standalone", and you'll be able to make your CC. Anyone correct me if I'm wrong.

I do check for Create CAS Standalone however I'm not aware of the "override" button. Is there anything from within the Warehouse window that I can look at to see if my item is replacing said vanilla clothing?

If you post your package that is replacing the nude male top, someone can take a look to see where things are going wrong.

I know that if you used a certain mesh, you should be able to see the geometry in the warehouse. If you're doing a recolor you shouldn't find anything. However, since this is a nude top, it could be different. Check that out, and if there's still nothing, you could share the .package file.
