Attempting to read a trait DATA file in Sims Studio is giving an error post-patch, as far as I can tell. This is further supported by the fact that VelocityGrass's DATA tool (which worked for me fine up until this patch) is not able to open post-patch trait DATA files.
Doesn't seem to be a way to copy/paste the text, so here's a screenshot of the error text for quick ref:
