Before this recent spate of reports, no one has ever reported an issue with uninstalling Studio. Nothing has changed in Studio's code that could be causing a new issue like this. For this reason, it's difficult to know why some people are experiencing this problem. I've had a similar problem in the past trying to delete folders I had made myself unrelated to Sims 4 Studio or Sims 4. Windows insisted that I didn't have permission. I ended up using a non-Windows application as MisterS suggested above and that did the trick. It would be helpful if people could report their OS specs along with the report that Studio won't uninstall. This might end up highlighting a specific issue, such as a recent Win 10 update. Windows is notorious for introducing problems like this after updates, and, in fact, they have a troubleshooting page about this particular issue HERE. As literally thousands of people have downloaded Studio over the past week and very few are having the issue described in this thread, it is very difficult for me to think that the problem is related to Studio directly (especially, since, as I said, no code change has been made that would affect de-installation). I think it is a system problem occurring on some computers. More information is needed to get to the bottom of what that system problem might be. Help is limited on this thread because this is a new issue and, most likely, not Studio-specific in that we can fix it by changing Studio's code. I've been watching the thread hoping someone would provide a bit more information.

simshapedbox - I am having the same issue because I've tried to do the same thing you're doing. I haven't restarted my computer yet, but I have downloaded the ZIP Files, and everything works fine. So for now, my quick fix for you is to just download the zips and go from there. But whenever I restart my computer, i'll make sure to comeback and see if it deletes the files.

I even downloaded those third party erasers and none of them worked. So I again say to just download the zips and go from there. i'm sorry for the late response and sorry if this wasn't much help

The zip file works very well. I have never used the installer version and so have not experienced this issue.
