hi all, I would like to know if it is possible to create a (non default) custom cat skin overlay option in studio? I have not found one. if anyone can guide me I would appreciate this thank you!

I made one, you can grab it here. There is no easy way to find it in the game files so far. For now the only option you can do is to rip textures from the game and combine in 2D editor. There is some info about it here, check entire thread for the settings. This program may work or may not work for you, but if you decide to try, you are on your own there. Every time I try after not working in it for a few months it takes hours to make it work again, so I am not helping with figuring out the settings. This time I used D3D9 wrapper, but it started working after 20 attempts. But I can try making a custom skin if you send me tray files with the cat.

Hi! thank you Feyona, i meant to put I am looking for the option in sims 4 studio to create a cat skin overlay in game. i want my sphynx/ hairless cat to have a custom skin in order to look more realistic in game to take pictures.

I think it is possible only as an override. Pets skins consist of 3 files which are black-white hair texture file, color overlay and normal map. You would need to find and override those 2 files. But I don't know if it is possible to create new skin. I don't think it is so far.
