I'm assuming you placed your UV where s4s recognizes skin/top, but your links don't work.

Hi! You can't simply convert a decorative object into accessory without editing the UV and Texture. CAS & build/buy work differently. Objects have independent textures from each other, accessories have to be mapped into one single layout. And the space they occupy can't be any of the sim' body skin, or clothing, or any other item that the sim wears that you don't want it to be overlapped with your texture. For example, the only space that i can suggest is the "Hat" space. And you can't wear hats while using your item or textures will overlap with each other. I suggest you read about how accessories with this creation guide. Save the body template image linked in this post. Head over to the UV window in blender and from the menu on the bottom bar pick image/open/ and locate the image to open it. Then follow the guide from "15. Click the small up/down triangles to the right of the plus sign in the bar below the UV/Image Editor window. " (You can press ctrl+f and search for that sentence) onwards.
