I think I posted in the wrong forum so I'm going to try here I'm new to dabbling with Wishes. I'd like to make a tuning mod that would make it so my sims will never dig up time capsules or treasure maps; just crystals, metals, and limestone. I'm very new to using Wishes and I haven't found a tutorial for it as of yet. Thanks for any help!

Hey, read the tuning tutorials here (if you haven't already), find the item you wish to modify in S4S (in your case the debug rocks), look which object tuning is connected to them, extract it, look into the super affordances to see which interactions are connected to the item and look at them, eventually you will find one or possibly more tunings that have something about "loot" in their name, look at them. Somewhere in there you will find a set of lines detailing the chance to dig up capsuls and maps, set that chance to 0 and you should be done.

anska Thank you for trying to help I followed the directions that the mini-tutorial that show you how to find the ID of an object definition needed to use in a tuning mod. Once I found the Id for the rock spawner that I needed (It showed my this ID 00000000000076F6), I went into sims studio Wishes, created an empty package, then extract tuning, I pasted the Id into the export tuning look up box...But it pulled up objective/objective_Asp_Family_L5A_1T_02 which has nothing to do with dig sites or rocks...? I don't exactly know where I went wrong. I've modified and updated other creators mods (for personal use) before but this is driving me crazy :-X there isn't a tutorial for making a tuning mod like this, only for tuning bed comfort level or other furniture tuning. I'm stuck.

sharris8 you have the right idea! But you skipped the step that actually involved the rock. You should search the debug items in S4S for "spawner" and it will be the first item ("**DEBUG** collectSpawner_DigSite" and some numbers). From there, go to the warehouse tab. You need to find the tuning file ("collectibles_Spawners_Rock_DigSite"). This is your jumping-off point. (I see there may be at least one other file that needs to be changed.) If you have a folder of extracted resources ( which I highly recommend to ease the modding process), then you just need to search for that xml file, save a copy somewhere else, and batch import that copy into the empty package. No need to fret over lengthy IDs!
