I googled the forum up and down but couldn't find an answer. What causes part of the mesh to shine through? In game it does the same. Thank you for helping

Can you share the .package and .blend file? It looks like a graphic card issue to me.

I doubt it's graphic card related. I made other items that didn't have that problem. Just wondering if it's my mesh or something s4s. Thanks for taking the time to look into it packageblend

It's probably card related as suggested above, i personally don't see it on my end. Only a handful of users will see it whilst others not.

I don't think there's anything wrong with your graphics card per se. it's believed that it might be simply too good for the game to render correctly!

I had to change my graphic card because the old one literaly melted and I bought a Nvidia GTX 1060 that is now causing this issue too. It happens in Studio's viewport and in the game. I did some research and it seems that the game has that glitch with some Nvidia cards specifically. The workaround that the EA forum showed is to grab "The Inspector" (a controller for Nvidia Driver) and to enable only for The Sims 4 an option called "Antialiasing fix". I've managed to solve the issue completely in game. I don't know if this will fix it in Studio too. However, as inabadromance said, the issue is only happening in some people computers. It's not something wrong with your mesh or textures. Most Nvidia cards are far more than capable of handling The Sims 4, I don't know why EA hasn't fixed this issue in the game already but... you know it's EA..
