So, I've been having this issue for a long time now. Items that are placed on any surface using the 9 and 0 keys, and/or the OMSP (One More Slot Please) mod will seemingly magically get removed when i'm not looking, and placed in my household inventory. It is absolutely maddening. However, recently I connected the dots that it has something to do with OMSP (and/or using the height adjusting 9 and 0 keys) and removing/changing walls and/or changing wallpaper. But what that "something" is, I honestly have no clue. Since I made that correlation, I've (sort of) been able to avoid that happening by making absolutely sure that i'm 100% happy with the location of walls and choice of wallpapers before placing any objects with OMSP. Still, sometimes I just want to be able to go back and change the wallpaper any time I feel like it, damnit! Hah.
But I digress...I'm wondering, does anyone else have this issue? From what I've read from Google searches, it appears that it may be an old problem. Has this issue been dealt with already and i'm I just severely out of the loop? Anyone have a fix for me?
Hi, sugarmagnolia. IIRC, there was a problem with MOO'd (bb.moveobjects on) objects losing their places back at the start of the game. Is MOO (MoveObjectsOn) what you mean instead of OMSP? I use actual OMSPs CC objects instead of the 9 and 0 keys for most surfaces (you can find the ones I've created HERE). And I haven't had any problems with MOO'd objects moving around. Although, I'll have to admit that I don't go back and change my walls often.

kitkat , I do mean OMSP, but I suppose MOO could be the problem! I actually hadn't considered that, because I always have MOO enabled whenever I place all of my objects, and since it's exclusively items placed with OMSP (I use Severinka's OMSP) that are giving me trouble, I figured that the problem had to be OMSP or a height adjustment related issue.
Sometimes I'll use both OMSP and the 9 and 0 keys together. Just to give you an example, when I want to fill a high wall shelf with objects, let's say I'll use the "end table" OMSP and use the 9 key to raise said OMSP up to the desired height of the wall shelf. Anyway, any time I go to remove a wall or add different wallpaper, I can see that any and all items that have been raised or lowered with the 9 and 0 keys and/or items placed with an OMSP will become highlighted in yellow, as if it were deleting the items. Once the wallpaper or wall is placed, the highlighted items disappear and are moved to my household inventory. Haha, I really hope all of that made sense! I'm not completely sure why it's happening, perhaps it's a combination of MOO, OMSP, and the 9 and 0 keys, perhaps it's only one of the three. Or perhaps it's because I'm using OMSPs together with the 9 and 0 keys in order to place objects high up. Either way, I'm fortunate that it's an inconvenience that I can work around. However, I will download your OMSPs and see if that helps my problem! Thank you for the link, I really appreciate you!
Oh - gotcha! Thinking about it, I tend to have my lots kind of compartmentalized in my game. I have lots I play and lots I decorate. I use my OMSPs and MOO cheats heavily in my decorated lots and to a more minimal degree in the lots I play. So, TBH, I know my OMSPs work well for decorating and photographing but I'm less sure about how they work in heavily played lots. I'll have to test that out and post a disclaimer if I find an issue. Thanks for highlighting this potential issue

No problem! I really appreciate your input, and for sharing the link to your OMSPs! I honestly spend just about all of my game time building and decorating, so when items that i've meticulously placed randomly get deleted, it's really infuriating, hah!
Great news though! I downloaded your OMSPs, and when I use them to place items on a table/counter/dresser they do NOT get deleted when I change the wallpaper!!! Hooray!! I'm not sure why Severinka's OMSPs mess up, but I might try to reach out to her and let her know. Unfortunately though, when I tried to use your OMSPs and the 9 key to place items on a tall bookshelf or high wall shelf, the item did get deleted and moved to my household inventory, just like Severinka's. It seems as though OMSPs just don't like being raised up with the 9 key..? Anyway, the fact that I can now use your OMSPs to place items on normal surfaces is definitely a start, and a HUGE help! THANK YOU SO MUCH! I really do appreciate you!
