Hi all. I'm having the "visible seams" issue with a new mesh I'm working on. Usually it happens when I don't remove doubles, but this time I've done that and it still shows up. I've found that after I remove doubles in Blender and then import them into S4S, the doubles magically appear again. Somewhere in the import the seams split and I get the visible seam issue. I'm using the newest version of S4S and the Blender it works with, as well as 2.78a.

Game requires a mesh to be split on the sides, sleeves, and on the back. So when you import it in Studio it splits the mesh for game requirements. However, as far as I remember these seams should not be visible. Can you try splitting your mesh yourself and importing it? Or share your .blend and .package, I'll take a look.

Here are the .package and .blend files. www.mediafire.com/file/xnc4mcbxojibpk3/alphadress.zipPlease ignore the missing LODs and wacky textures for now. I'm at a loss for what to do as I've never really had this problem before, despite following the same steps every time. Also, I tried manually splitting the mesh before importing back into S4S but there was no difference in game.

Believe it or not it's a normal map issue. If you blank it problem will be gone. Since you placed your uv in a hat area try making normal map similar to the one that in hats. It is 512x256 size. You can make yours 1024x512. If you want to put some uv in a hat area and some uv over body area and make normal map, I believe it's not going to work. I haven't spotted EA full body mesh that uses normal map. Bear mesh has blank normal map.

Woop, thanks! I wonder how someone would make a full normal map that is compatible with HQ, as that uses texture sizes that seemingly wont work. Anyway, you've solved my issues. Thank you so much!

As I remember the size of NM doesn't matter for HQ settings. It's diffuse, shadow and specular what matters. But not sure if it's possible to make a full body NM in general. the only mesh I could think of was bear mesh, but it has empty NM, so probably it is not possible to make one for clothes that use full map space.
