I have a problem with the Cargos I recolored. The seams are allways not as clear to see as on the originals. But that is something I can live with. But now the cargo in CAS has a different appearance as in game as you can see on the pictures. (The brown is my recolor the other is an original EA-cargo.) The difference in CAS is aceptable for me, but the difference in game not.

can you please share your package file? could be because of the normal map or the diffuse. it depends on how you created the color overlay if it's because of the diffuse.

did you create an overlay over grayed out pants to add the color or did you just add a layer of color without changing the blending method? if you don't change the blending method it won't pick up all of the details

No, I think, thas was not what you ment. Can you explain, what you mean with "change the blending method", please. I think, Im doing something wrong all the time. Maybe its not changing the lending method. But I have no idea what that means in german.

this tutorial is for paint.net. it doesn't matter what program you're using; the method is the same.

Hm, dont know, what you want me to do... Maybe Im to old to understand... Is there someone who can explain in german or who knows a video using gimp? Edit: cant explain, what I did, but now its ok (after watching some more videos...) The colorlayer now is an underlay not an overlay, nothing I found in videos but it runs. Was a bit difficult to find the right color. Thanks again!
