I am working on a accessory cardigan for toddlers and I apended the cardigan mesh on to a necklace and deleted the necklace. Everything works great except for some shirts or outfits where the necklace I used as a base is floating over my sims head. hi! umm why did you use another's age item for your accessory? you can come a head accessory (not hats) and change the categories.

Looks to me like it is. You're cloning data that belongs to another rig, the modifications in category might not be applying correctly. It's always better to clone items that belong to that age to begin with.

I tried glasses but the glass is still there, would a hat work or would that mess things up with the hatchops? Toddlers don't really have many accessories

In my opinion the easiest approach would be to clone a hat. Then head over to the warehouse, region map, edit items. Delete the 2nd and 3rd element leaving the first only. Then change that to "base" instead of hat type.

I never used an item with no geometry to add meshes so I opted to recommend something I've done before just in case xd. glad it's working!
