I'm completely confused on what I'm doing. I don't know how to use this site either. I just recently downloaded the Sims 4 Studios because I was told it can merge cc. I merged some of my cc and now I need to un-merge it, but when I click un-merge packages, the application just closes. When i first clicked un-merge packages it allowed me to un-merge them, but I didn't think I needed to. I just closed it and continued to to merge. I am a mac user. Please help even if you are a windows user! All help is good and will be taken!

Hi gabbieishappy , the Mac version's unmerge feature has a bug that causes the app to close suddenly for no apparent reason. This issue is under investigation and will be fixed once the reason for the problem is known.

Hi gabbieishappy, this problem does not occur on the test Mac here. It would be very helpful if you could look at your console to see if your Mac is giving you an error message related to this crash. You can find that here: Also, does the problem happen with every package you attempt to unmerge or just certain ones? If it only happens with certain ones, can you send me one of the merged packages that causes the app to crash? If any other Mac user reads the thread and has a similar issue, an error report or package that causes the problem could help get to the bottom of the problem

Thank you orangemittens for replying! I looked inside the user reports and I did not see a a message regarding the crash. Answering your question about the certain packages, as soon as I click un-merge packages it crashes. It would never give me a chance to choose a package. The app let me at open it when I first got the app, but I didn't think I would need this feature, so I closed it. When I did try to open it, when I needed it, it crashed. I haven't been able to use the feature at all. I'm not sure if you will still need one of the merged packages, but I'm not sure how to send it to you. Again thanks for replying!

Hi gabbieishappy, do you have any crash logs at all in your User Reports? If so, can you try deleting them all. Once you have deleted them, try clicking un-merge again and see if you get a crash log after the Studio crashes.

I deleted the crash reports andrew and I then logged out of my account on my laptop just to make sure that it would update the report if it would work, but when I logged back in, and clicked un-merged packages it crashed. Btw thank you for replying!

After it crashed again, did you check the user reports again in your console.app? Were there any new reports?
