Hello, I made a conversion of Sims 3 waterslide to Sims 4 and I moved the _FX_waterFall01 to the frog's mouth and it seems to not have moved the water at all any ideas?

Hi comb, if you look at the tuning of the slide, you will see that all the effect slots are attached (their position is relative to) the fx_soap slot. The _FX_waterFall01 has no influence at all. This means that you can move the water spout effect by moving the _FX_soap, but if you do, all the water effects will move the same amount: The same issue occurs with EA's shark slide so an override of that object will not change the situation. I think if you want to move the effects independently, you will need to make a tuning mod so that the effects use their respective slots instead of all referring to the soap slot. Alternatively, you could tweak the mesh to accommodate whatever changes you make to the positions of the various water effects (which might be easier depending on your skill set).

I am not sure what you are asking. Could you be more specific? I edited my post above a bit - does that help?

Yw. In looking more closely at the tuning, it seems that all the unsoapy water effects may actually be part of a single effect while all the soapy ones are part of another (there are no separate small spouts and large spout - all are a single effect). If that is the case, tweaking the mesh is probably going to be the way to go as there is no effects editor that I know of at this time.

Unfortunately, I don't think so. It's still a really cute object though, and I think the effects issue can be worked around without any lessening of its visual appeal.

I think you could move the non-slide elements to match up with the water effects rather than vice versa. I looked at the mesh, and the pink caterpillar and frog parts are easily separated from the slide itself, allowing them to be moved along its length without difficulty. Those can be positioned wherever you want to match up with the water spouts.
