Hey everyone! I got permission from the CC creator to convert toe nail polish from his tip toe feet, to be compatible for necrodog's HD feet. The toe nail polish is under the socks category in CAS, and when I opened the file in S4S, it doesn't show up:   And here's what it looks like when I open it in Blender:  Does anyone know why it isn't showing up?? Not even in S4S? Thanks for any and all help! |

I think the toe nail polish cc isn't a mesh, it's just a texture. So to put it on necrodogs feet, you just have to add the texture to his feet mesh (I think his feet use the same UV mapping as EA's)

hi! if they share the same uv map then the cc should work with his feet or any other.

Hahaha! Is there a tutorial for that? Or do you mean open necrodog's feet in S4S, and add a swatch? |

I fixed the link, and I also added the link for necrodog's feet! The version I'm trying to add the polish on, is the sandals version because the "tip toe feet" are also sandals. |

Umn, you can't share shortened links here. Please link the direct link for both items. You can later delete the links once the thread is solved. I'm assuming that the nails from the tip toe are mapped in a different place than the regular feet. So.. you'll have to export negrodog's feet, open it on blender and check how it's been mapped. Then manually do each of the textures again... you don't really need to ask permission for something like that since those are simple colors that you add, it's not even a mesh solely recolor just like gloves. Unless you want to credit that exact color palette. Necrodog's feet are mapped exactly over EA's original texture. You can check the female one HERE. Where the nails are, is exactly where the color should be. You have to clone a pair of gloves, and import all the textures. |

nevertheless, please read what I said before about the uv and feet since in pretty sure that's the case.
this isn't even a conversion since you can do it yourself... by painting each nail like I mentioned. that is how it is mapped. the tip toe feet it's mapped differently so the textures are never going to work for the other.

I read your message in its entirety which is why I stated above that it sounds far too complicated for me-- conversion or not. |
