Hi, so I was following a tutorial on how to make shirts on blender with MD, but I was wondering if the process is any different for making pants? I was wondering do you have to import the nude bottom instead of the nude top for the avatar in blender? and to go along with that last question, I tried that and nothing showed up, so troubleshooting for that as well. Also, when I tried to append for the pants, I could not find the s4s mesh in the object folder. Sorry this thread is literally all over the place I just have so many questions haha.

you need to exoprt the nude bottom blend file from sims 4 studio and you can either open it and then import your mesh or append it into a different file.

When I tried to import the bottom mesh, nothing showed up, any tips? Are you doing append, and then selecting the s4studio_mesh_1 geometry?

try appending the mesh (like how it's done in the tutorial) using this .blend simfileshare.net/download/549980/if it still doesn't work could you upload your .blend, thanks.

sorry for replying so late, but your sfs blend worked for me! the only problem is that I am making womens pants, do you possibly have a blend file for womens bottoms?

also, another problem has arose. when I try to append the s4s mesh, there is no s4s mesh in the object folder, or any other folder.

Thank you!! Basically, when you're supposed to append the mesh of a similar ea mesh onto the marvelous designer obj, you're supposed to chose the files that say like S4S_Mesh in the object folder of the mesh file. anyways, the files don't show up. I t would probably e easier to understand with pictures, but I don't know how to add pictures sorry.

hi! you can clone any sim underwear and export its mesh to get the nude. or simply look for nude in the catalog. then open your blend and go to file/append to look for your nude blend.

Thank you for the advice!! Sadly it didn't work, I am pretty sure my blender is just broken though. I have tried uninstalling and redownloading it a few times, but nothing has worked. If anyone has tips on that that would be great, because I really just want to start meshing!

we can't really tell what's going on in your end. please describe the steps you're following and a picture showing what's different.

Sorry for all the confusion, I just went ahead and reset my laptop (its fairly new so it wasn't too big of a deal) and now my problem is solved. However I am a little wary to redownload blender 2.70 from the website I downloaded it from before, because the problems with my blender 2.79 app started to occur after I downloaded 2.70 from that site. Does anyone have a link to the blender 2.70 download? Btw I have a macbook, so I don't know if that might be a problem.
