I'm super frustrated. Every time I try to "extract tuning" under Tools the program crashes. I've uninstalled and reinstalled, and I'm not using an old computer. I am using a laptop, however, so not sure if this has anything at all to do with it. If anyone could help at all I would love you forever <3

Here's a workaround I've figured out: Save your progress for the project you're working on. Go to the Main Menu and open a new Object: Standalone Recolor. Name it something stupid so you know to delete it later. Find the object that you want the Object Tuning info from and click next. Go into Warehouse and find the "Object Definition" on the Left side as pictured below and click it. Copy the Name. Don't Save. Go back to Main Menu and open a new Object: Standalone Recolor. Name it something stupid so you know to delete it later. Select something small with no animations, like a decoration. I used a random wall art. Go into Warehouse and run "Extract Tuning". Instead of adding it to the current project, click "Export" Save it in a place you'll remember. Go back to your previous project - the one you were working on that made "extract tuning" crash. Go to Warehouse. Under the left side, click "Batch Import". Import the .xml that you just exported. Let it import. You'll find your Object Tuning down at the bottom. Click it. Be sure to rename the file on the right side as follows - YourCreatorName:Whateveryouwannanameit Save. It's a process, but it helped me. Hope it works for you.

Thanks justanothername!
It worked for me, though I had to restart S4S a few times.

I was redirected here while looking through old threads trying to find a solution to this same bug, and the workaround hasn't worked for me, either. I've reinstalled a few times, run as admin, tried from the start up screen, the "standalone recolor" item selection screen, the studio screen, and warehouse screen (on the initial object, and a basic deco object.) I've closed out all background programs. I can't think of what else to try.
