I'm fairly new at this, I've maybe done three little things to create CC, but I understand most of the basics. There's a hair texture that I've been trying to recolor in a specific way; I want it to be two definite colors, split down the middle, so that one side is color A and the other side is color B. You can see it called 'Harley Quinn' hair or 'Melanie Martinez' hair. www.thesimsresource.com/downloads/1406513This is the CC hair in question that I wanted to add a swatch to. I'm not sure how to go about splitting it cleanly down the middle; I've tried a few different things, but it always just blends the two colors together. Would I split the colors for each little piece of the texture image? Any help is welcome. Thank you!

Hi! You can only recolor duo tone hairs that have been created and UV mapped like that to start with. So if the creator isn't showing you duo tone swatches then it's 99% not possible.
This particular hair you're trying to recolor, can't be made into duo tone colors due to the way it was mapped.

Is there a way to use Blender to change the mapping?

you can select half of the hair in edit mode and change where it is on the uv map. you'll then have to bake where the planes are and then copy and paste the hair texture in your 2D editor.
