A friend sent me a shoe that they'd like for me to rig and weight for The Sims 4 and everything was going fine until I joined the right foot mesh with the left foots mesh, Pictures explaining it further:

Hi!, Once joined select the shoe parts in edit mode, and recalculate.

I'm now having another problem with the shoe, When I join Mesh with the S4Studio_Mesh_1 it turns the shoe from white to nude and deletes the uv that I had set

both uv names should be the same between meshgroups prior joining them. (don't mind the names here, this is just an example on where the uvs are)

So if the Mesh_0014 is joined with the S4Studio_Mesh_1 it has to have both a UV_1 and/or UV_0? Just trying to make it clear for myself haha

your shoe should be already mapped and named uv_0. AND, you should already have done uv_1 on its own so as not to mess EA's feet uv_1.
