is it allowed to repost a question if it doesn't get answered or even looked at? I might have to rephrase the title...

Hi! You can bump unanswered threads after the first 24hrs have passed. There's multiple reasons why this happens, mostly because there's no one that knows the answer, can open the files at the time (they're at work or on their mobiles or simply your thread gets mixed among others. So you're welcome to do the above. About your texture issue: Firstly, delete the following unnecessary meshgroups: all bone shape groups, and the rig.00x copies. You should only have ONE rig. There's overlapping geometry on the same space as your dress meshgroup. And that is all the elements inside the RIG mesh group. The baking feature grabs ALL the elements on the blend to create the texture even if you're only selecting one meshgroup. You need to temporally "disable" the rest of the elements that might collide with your dress. Open the RIG meshgroup, and disable all elements inside it by clicking on all the camera icons next to each title. (don't pay attention to what's written on the image, just to show how to open the meshgroup and where the camera icons are) After the bake, you'll need to further edit the texture a bit in your image editor of choice to fix some of the black spots manually. Also the inside of the ruffles are transparent.. not sure if you know how to fix that or not. You select the ruffles, duplicate them from the side bar menu and flip the texture. (same side bar, UV tab). Beautiful mesh btw! keep up the good work.

Hey! First of all, thank you so much! I was able to change the ruffles so they aren`t transparent anymore. Sadly, the texture still doesn`t appear like it should in Sims Studio. I followed all your steps but somehow it still doesn`t work. My texture is also darl-blackish grey and not white, maybe that`s an issue? I tried to import my dress on a different ea dress and the EA dress mesh goes over my mesh and i really don`t know :/. heres the link if you want to look at it again- which would be lovely and i would be very grateful about! have a nice day

Hi! The blend you just share looks like the same from your first post. I see that you've disabled all elements from the rig mesh group, but the camera icons are still white. You have to disable all of those too. From the picture i shared on my last reply, in order: eyes, arrows, cameras. You have to click on each of them to disable all elements from the baking.
As for the color of the bake, i check "normalize" before pressing the bake button.
About your package issue. Not all items you clone will have the same amount of meshgroups (with their respective cut numbers). Some outfits have one, some have 3 meshgroups. You MUST export the original EA mesh to check that both blends have the same amount of matching mesh groups and cuts so that all meshgroups can be updated evenly. If the original clone has 5 meshgroups, you can't simply joined everything and import it like that. You have to import the same amount. If you've joined everything, then you need to clone a mesh that has only 1 cut. I suggest cloning the lingeriecorset outfit that has 1 cut only.

Oh that was it! I changed the EA mesh to the lingerie one and did all the stuff again and oh my it worked! Thank you so so much- for helping me and being patient with me! There's one issue with the ruffles in game, but I hope to figure that out Again, thank you! x and idk if you would like to see the (not yet) end result but here's a tumblr post

have you done a smooth transfer for both uv_1 and weights? check this guide: sims4studio.com/thread/13309/smooth-weight-transferI suggest using imgur.com to upload and share your images. you can also open the full images, right click then and copy "direct link". then use the image button on the menu and paste that link.
