Hi, So I know this isn't the place to post (and I'd love if someone could tell me where/how to post about this issue) so I'm going to do it here, since I know how to create a thread here! My S4S keeps crashing. I use the Mac version, the most recent update. It keeps crashing whenever I go into the Model LOD to update the SSAO Intensity to get rid of the weird shadows on objects in-game (following Peacemaker's tutorial here). Whenever I go into the Varient ID's, I can modify 3-5 SSAO's before S4S just totally crashes. I have to save every 3 and then it'll crash, without fail. I have the crash log from my Mac available, but if there's any other crash reports I can supply I'd be happy to do so. Thank you for the help in advance!

How many polys does your Mesh have? Sometimes are very high poly counts causing this issue.
Meshes with 4072×4072 pixel textures have problems too

How do I see how many polys? This issue has happened with furniture, decor, etc. I'm trying to edit it so I can get rid of those streaks in-game

The polys can be Seen under the normal (not warehouse) tab by the LODs

It has 59843 polys. Is that a lot?

hi! yes it is. what type of cc are you working with? it'll also depend on your machine. try importing an EA mesh and changing what you wanted to test if it still crashes.

Hi, I have a macbook pro. I have approx. 30 GB of storage remaining on it. I'm working with a car mesh, I'm just trying to adjust the SSAO ID's so that I can get rid of the streaks on the object. It's crashed on smaller objects too, like sofas, pillows, decor, etc. other than just the car I'm currently working on

I see. size of the great doesn't mean is low poly, depending where you got them from. meshes from modeling sites are mostly all high poly. also it's not about the storage you have but the ram and the processor. I've never used Mac, so you'll have to wait for someone that uses that OS.

Mine crashes on startup. I can't even click on "Object", "Build", etc.
