Hi! I can't seem to find any tutorials on how to convert sims 3 skin to the sims 4. I've converted makeup and other CAS items before, and have seen tutorials for build/buy items, but nothing on skins. I don't even know if it is possible since the placement is so different and the sims 3 uses 2 images, one for face and one for body, if that makes sense. In any way I would love to convert this one skin (with permission) and just can't find a tutorial or anything. Please help if you can!

Hello there! It's not an easy process since the sims 4 and the sims 3 have very different ways to cover skins. In the sims 3, you got a face skin, a body skin and details map all separated. In the sims 4, everything is conjoined, from face to body, everything's together. I'd say try to come up with a method yourself but that's not very helping isn't it? I think all you need is knowledge of how both skin systems work and a lot of photoshopping. Keep in mind that the UV Mapping of the two games is also a heck of a lot different. Good luck!
