Hello good day. I am beginning to learn to create cc. I have chosen a base game dresser to change the textures and start playing with the bump and the specular. I changed them for the ones left by orangemittens in the forum. In the S4S viewer it looks perfect, but not in the game (especially inside a room). I leave you some captures and the package so you can see how some darker areas appear in the dresser. Captures
thank you in advance

I can't look at the package atm but are you using a custom specular map or normal map? If not have you tried making them blank?

Hi jwofles, I used this from orangemittens tutorial: Introduction
This isn't really a tutorial per se but just blank bump and specular images suitable for importing into object .packages to overwrite EA's bump and specular. If the size I've included here isn't the same as what you need to overwrite you can simply resize it in your 2D editor before importing it.
What you will need
Sims 4 Studio The images in this zip: Blank bump and specular images <--------------

inabadromance the package file is already available from the "Captures" link. I've taken a look and can't see anything wrong with the textures being used so I don't know how to go forward with this.

I checked the files, and the bump map texture isn't right. The ALPHA channel is white on your texture, it should be an specific shade of gray. Open the original textures you downloaded and compare them. Also, you can import those two you got directly instead of resizing them to match your texture. As a note, the specular that is shared there isn't matte. So your item will be shiny if placed outside. You can use this files HERE, the specular is completely matte. For a specular to be matte, both main layer AND alpha channel need to be black.
