I play on a very long lifespan (using MCCC) and since the jobs in Sims 4 are, understandably, designed to be completable on the standard normal or even short lifespans, it's a little too easy for me to reach the top and have nothing for my sims to strive for for the rest of their lives. Is there any mods out there that will make it harder to earn job performance or make the promotion requirements take more time/effort? I'm especially looking for anything for the GTW professions, because I just started a new game with a sim who's going to be a detective and I'd really like it to require a lot of effort and time to reach the top of her career. Thanks!

What a coincidence. Since a long time I edited the careers so I have some more realism(?) in the game. I also play on a very long lifespan with the help of MCCC. So I edited the careers that I earn less money and have in some cases different schedules. For example the tech guru career and the pro gamer path. When you decide to become a pro gamer, you only have one working day per week. Think of it as a weekly gathering of you and your teammates where you discuss some tactics, upcoming tournaments etc. and get your weekly paycheck from your boss. So you only have to go to work on friday for 6 hours and get 500/h. 3000 bucks/week is nice, but when you want the big money, you have to play lots of tournaments and do many livestreams. And yes, I start many new saves just because I get too quick too rich. And a few days ago I just took a look inside a college mod and tried to create my own career. If I´m not mistaken, in theory there´s just one value that has to be changed, so the progress you make is less. But I never engaged with this value before. I will take look tomorrow or saturday°
