hi! I'm really not understanding the problem here... is that an EA texture or from where is it from? please provide more information about your project. if you made the mesh/textures, if it's from another site. please share the blend and package files as well. I suggest also checking this other thread, it is information on how to properly create specular and bump textures: sims4studio.com/thread/14123/problem-bump-specular-working-correctly.

its a moddified mesh of the vest for dogs included with the dogs and cats EP, I modified it to remove the pockets, recolored the diffuse, was going to create the normal, but the normal that exports though s4s only covers 75 percent of the mesh. In the picture, the left side is extremely purple (I was halfway through creating a normal that would reflect the changes to the mesh and texture) and the right less purple side was what i exported though s4s. The real issue I'm having is understanding how to import my larger than exported normal so that it lines up correctly. folder containing blend, package, psd
