Hi all! I'm brand new at recoloring and I'm tying to get my sheets and pillow shams a nice crispy white...However, once i'm done with the recoloring process, the sheets and shams are still what ever color they originally were :/ I'm using Wishes and paint.net. I import the bed textures to paint.net and then open the png white color that I want, make a second layer, I select the sheet and pillow sham area, use the color picker tool, use paint bucket to paint them white, select properties on the layer and then select multiply under blending mode, okay it, then finally merge layers and save as...but this is what i get. can someone help?

if you share the file maybe I could help you n-n Have you first tried to recolorize a game bed? each object has its texture if you have seasons I suggest these that are similar: although using the paint canister is fine, it will also be great if you use the saturation tone option because the texture of the canister is lost (in my opinion) this: hue and saturation once it is selected but if what you say is white it is better to use the brightness and contrast option Also in my opinion you are doing steps of more when there are always easier ways but good that goes more with your way of recolor n.n maybe this also helps you although I do not know I use .dds not png oh do not wait I think you're trying to recolor the seasons xD this? with paint can bright and contrast opcion: Sorry to fill you with so much information ...

Are you talking about the dark lines? That looks like information from the normal or specular map. Follow this tutorial to get rid of those.
