imgur.com/a/tHQgmzGFor some reason, nomatter how many times I do it over again, when I launch the game it causes this glitch to appear and it shows on the sim as well. In the past I have just erased the glitched part or painted over it and that fixed it, but for some reason that has no effect on this now. I am using s4s candy apple. If anyone knows how to fix this issue, please let me know Thank you!

I've had a similar issue a few weeks ago which did not go away until I remade the specular. I also had this once after loading the particular item (clothing) in game. It did not seem to have a visible effect in game but when I checked S4S I saw a similar image. Do you have a pic of how it looks/what it is causing in-game?

Yes, I do have some screenshots : imgur.com/a/tHQgmzG(just scroll down - its a thread of the images in this thread) I've redone the specular like 10 times (no joke!) and at this point I am pretty annoyed and ready to give up lol.. because nothing I do fixes the issue ;(

hi! I can't really tell what's wrong with it by seeing the images. can you please share the package and the texture file you're importing so someone can take a look? have you tried changing the sort layer? sims4studio.com/thread/2310/cas-sort-layer

Why exactly does the mask have all those white chunks surrounding the highlighter? The mask should be exactly as the alpha on your other dds.

Why exactly does the mask have all those white chunks surrounding the highlighter? The mask should be exactly as the alpha on your other dds. Well thats why I made this thread. I am unsure why it does that. It looks perfectly normal when I made it, and then once I import it into sims 4 studio, it still looks perfectly normal. Only when I start the game, does the mask create that glitch and then in game you see it. I painted with black over the white on the mask numerous times and tried re-importing it into s4s and launching ts4 but it continuously does the exact same thing. I am unsure why ... honestly. It has done this for as long as I can remember, on my windows computer and now on my mac but typically I'd launch the game , expecting the glitch, force quit, paint over the glitched area, and then re import, relaunch and then its fine.. for some reason though its not going away this time.

Oooh! Okay, sorry that i couldn't understand the issue. You're right, it keeps adding stuff back upon import. I'm not really sure why that happens really.. i've never worked with makeup and haven't really had this issue before with alphas. I kept playing with the texture and re saving it. Somehow it got a little better.. maybe you can go from there? Also, i painted the RGB of the .dds all white. There shouldn't be any black in there since the transparency is controlled by the alpha. simfileshare.net/folder/39974/Btw, i'm using windows. I feel this issue is more on the dds side rather than on S4S due to artifacts. But i could be completely wrong, that's just my wild guess.

Thank you for your response and for your help regarding this matter. I will check it and see if things are in fact better at this point, when I get a chance! Once again, thank you very very much <3
