hi! this forum doesn't host files. you need to upload them somewhere else and paste the sharing link here. www.imgur.com for images, Dropbox, onedrive, simfileshare for files. please link the tutorial you followed and share the blend and package files. sounds to me like an uv issue, so check anything related to that. if it's positioned correctly on the texture map.

To share your blend and package files just upload them to any file sharing website like oneDrive or dropbox, and then paste the link here.

What operating system are you using? The blend looks a little odd, there's lamps missing and other things like parts of the body... you shouldn't delete that if you did. What you have now is perfectly fine. You mapped the skirt into the UV texture map. Now you have to create your own texture. I suggest you BAKE YOUR TEXTURE, recolor and import back into your package. Also, there's an extra uv that shouldn't be there. So select it, and click the minus button next to it.

I am on an acer predator 17x and I'm running most current windows 10 i have different blenders because the tutorial said to use 2.70 and 2.78 which i did find rather odd. i did set my theme in blender different though i love to customise. I tried joining all of the body meshes together to make things look neat i probably shouldnt have done that and i did delete some things i thought i didn't need, guess i shouldn't have done that either lol. I will start all over using just the bottom nude mesh instead of trying to join the whole body mesh together and next i'll do the texture tutorial thanks for helping me i'll keep ya'll posted

I'm not sure I understand your last post. the item is unrelated to your original post. do you have any issues with your new item? if so, then please share the blend file as well. and please link the tutorial you followed. tights don't have a mesh.. unless you're calling tights to something else.

Hi! I suggest you test your creations in game before starting to recolor them. Have you tested it? I'm looking at the blend and noticing that all the geometry of the skirt is duplicated.. did you duplicate it at some point? There isn't a way to fix it now so not sure if that is a bother or not for you.So you should pay attention to that in the future or your creations will be high poly if duplicated like that. As for the texture, i suggest you bake your creations. This is create a texture specifically made for your mesh that will give you a starting point for recolors. I suggest you READ THIS GUIDE. Since the mesh is duplicated... i'm not sure if the baking will work or not but you should test it out regardless.
