Did you try flipping the direction of JUST that single face, and not the whole mesh? You can also check the direction of your normals by turning on the mesh display feature in edit mode. Its in your "N" menu.

If the idea from Aduah doesn't work, please share the .blend so that we can have a look and help you with this.

Hi, Zelrish. I'm sorry for the late response. This mesh was getting on my nerves so I put it aside for a moment. I tried making another mesh but again I'm having the same problem. It seems to work when I cut the face in half with the knife tool, but I wonder if there is a better way to solve this. lol And answering Aduah's question, yes, I did the flip direction on the whole mesh. One thing I've noticed is that this issue is only visible in Blender 2.70, not in 2.79, and it's there when I just import it from Marvelous Designer. ??? pictureHere is the .blend

You can either use knife tool and cut selected faces the way you like/ select 2 vertices, press CTRL+V and choose "connect vertices"/ or select entire mesh, press CTRL+F and choose "triangulate faces from drop down menu. This is the fastest way, but I'd recommend cutting selected edges first and then triangulating. This way you will control edge flow.
Note: Just FYI Studio also triangulates faces for you when imports a mesh.

Hi, Feyona. Triangulating the faces also fixed the issue, in a better and quicker way. I probably need to add this step during the process, from now on. I know that S4 Studio already does that after importing, but for some reason the issue also appeared in game. Anyway, thank you so much.

veridiana Studio doesn't have eyes to know how to cut polys in correct way and what edges to split . So it's always the best to prepare the mesh yourself before importing.
