Okay, so this issue has been going on for a few months and I've been too nervous to ask for help. But since then I haven't been able to actually DO anything with my cc, and well that's ridiculous since all I want to do is add swatches using a standard setup.
The Problem:
Every time I open a package this happens. Sometimes I'll get as far as "adding a swatch" and then I get the message. But ultimately it always ends with the program crashing. I've tried to do it again to recreate it and now merely clicking crashes the entire thing and I don't get a message.
Here's another one that happens:
What I've done:
- Deleted all S4S files (including the documents folder)
- Reinstalled S4S several times using both methods
- Made sure all relevant programs for my system (windows 10) are up to date
- Checked my computer's RAM and relevant stats (all good from what the diagnostics can tell)
- Made sure my hardware is up to date and properly working
- Updated and Reinstalled Sims 4
- Restarted my computer
- Browsed what relevant help threads I could find about my problem (unsuccessfully)
- Cried
I'm sorry if there's an obvious answer but I've honestly tried everything I could find to do. All I want is to be able to recolor stuff; I'm not adding 70+ swatches either (only about 17 and I've seen other creators exceed that so I'm assuming I'm in the black) so I know I'm not exceeding the intended purpose, but since I have a limited understanding of coding and such I can't properly read the report to understand what and where things are going wrong.
The Problem:
